International Day of Portuguese Language & Culture: A program has been organized featuring a reading session in Portuguese only. All participants will receive books and a certificate. Open to anyone familiar with the Portuguese language and interested in this unique celebration of the Portuguese language (which many in Goa are familiar and conversant with). The Goa-born and bred Bhare is architect, urban designer and planner and professor of urbanism at the University of Southern California, his work has been widely noticed.
