LITERARY MEET
Celebrating Kerala: The 6th edition of the Malayalam literary meet hosted by Federation of All Goa Malayalee Associations takes place first week July annually. Participants include noted writers of the Malayali diaspora in Goa and country. This year’s guest of honor is KP Sudheera, he will inaugurate the function. Participants also include Musafir Ahmed and Goan author Damodar Mauzo. Highlights include a multilingual poetry reading session by Konkani and Malayalam poets including well known Konkani writer N Sivadas. Venue: Ravindra Bhavan, Margao. Date: Saturday/Sunday, June 1&2. ENVIRONMENT DAY
triGoa Environment Day Ride: Join in UN World Environment Day celebrations on June 5. WED has become a global outreach event now and observed in 143 countries annually. In Goa triGoa is organizing bicycle rides of 25 km, 50km and 100 km as part of its environment awareness week. Get a degree in dramatics: The Kala Academy Goa’s College of Theatre Arts is conducting a course in dramatics affiliated to Goa University. Eligibility is XII pass in any stream. Additional qualifications may include experience in theatre, prizes/awards in drama, music, art competition by the Kala Academy or similar organizations. Only 30 students will be admitted.
