If you’re a herbalist at heart and want to cultivate herbs or medicinal plants, this is for you. Growing medicinal plants can be very rewarding. If you have land and are eligible as a farmer/cultivator and are already growing plants like kokum (garcinia indica), pippali (piper longum), madhukari (stevia rebaudiana), etc, as per National Ayush Mission norms, apply for a subsidy to Chief Executive Officer, State Medicinal Plants Board, Goa Baord, Goa, Office of the Deeputy Conservator of Forests, Research & Utilisation Division, Aquem Margao on or before August 15, 2019. Come the rains and many music lovers can be heard remembering the songs of one of Hindi cinema’s icons and various musical evenings are organized to remember Mohammed Rafi and the songs he sang. Here’s one tribute being paid in Ek Shaam Rafi Ke Naam , featuring Baroda-based singers Mehmood Hassan and Chetana Sahane and Mumbai-based RK who will entertain Rafi fans.
