As GALF keynote speaker the vivacious editor-journalist-columnist, celebrated MeToo campaigner, Priya Ramani was one of the first to speak up against sexual harassment of women at the work place, and against the mighty A J Akbar (editor, author, politician) who retaliated by filing an ongoing criminal defamation case against her. She disarmed the GALF audience in her address, urging women to speak up, it empowers women, brings them a sense of liberation, “We women don’t speak up enough!”
