BUBBLE TRAVEL

INTERNATIONAL flights are yet to resume. Passengers from Goa who wish to go abroad however can avail of the “bubble” agreement between India and various countries under the Vande Bharat Mission. Slots have been allotted to Qatar where a large number of Goans are employed. Five slots have been allotted to Goa for flying Goa-London-Goa. Stranded Indians from Kuwait landed at the Goa International Airport at Wednesday, Aug26 morning.
Similarly Russians tourist stranded in Goa flew back to Moscow on a Russian Charter flight. Regular International flights will only resume when the Central government decides to permit them. Bubble flights are based on a mutual understanding between India and other countries. For bubble flights it is no longer necessary to take a permission of the Centre and those wanting to return to England or any other country with which there is an agreement can approach the airline directly for information.
