THE good news is that finally the South Goa District Hospital started operating as of September 12, 2020. It is offering 150 beds initially and this will go up to 350 beds in phases. Also, according to Health Minister Vishwajit Rane, home isolation kits are being upgraded and will now also include a pulse oxymeter, Doxycycline, vitamin C tablets, zinc tablets and Ivermecticin (as prescribed by Uttar Pradesh government protocol).
