SC RAPS GOVERNMENT

The SC has told the Modi government to stay the implementation of the farms laws. IT has warned that if the government does not do so it will issue a stay order to prevent the implementation of the farm laws.
The SC turned down the government demand that the farmers should give up the protest. The SC said that farmers had every right to protest and were forced to do so as the government was not solving their problems. It requested farmers to continue to stage a peaceful protest. In view of the very cold weather it suggested the women and children should ideally be sent back home.

BIRD FLU HAS SPREAD ACROSS THE COUNTRY

As many as nine states have reported large number of bird deaths. Poultry farms across the country have been closed down. The Delhi government has banned the sale of packaged chicken. Several zoos have been closed in the country. The migratory birds which comes to escape the cold weather in Europe are suspected to be carriers of bird flu. The number of Covid-19 cases in the country has come down to less then 500 hundred a day, now it is the bird flu which is spreading at a rapid rate. The number of people with the UK variant of swine flu has gone up to 92. A few cases of a North African variant have also been discovered.

INDIA SAVED THE COUNTRY’S PRESTIGE

Australia to a draw in the test match against huge odds. Australia had set its target of 423 which India manage to achieve.
