Dear friends, I Thank you for all the support you have extended to me for the last 38 years. For the first 20 years when I converted Portuguese Oheraldo into the largest English daily in Goa. I was the one who fought to make Konkani as the official language of the state. I also took on the goons of Panaji and rest of Goa single handed with the support of honest police officers.

‘We started the Goan Observer in 1983 as a Independent news weekly. Many of you helped us in our struggling years. We were doing very well till the BJP returned to power in 2017. A vindictive BJP, a frightened private industry and the lockdown due to Covid-19 has brought us to the bring.
