The BJP panel for which the candidates were selected by Panaji MLA Babush Monserrate won 25 out of 30 seats in the CCP elections.

Even Surendra Furtado and his wife Ruth Furtado who have been winning consistently from their wards for more then five terms had a narrow escape. Ruth Furtado won by only ten vote while Surendra won by just 50 votes. Nelson cabral also won by a very narrow margin.

In contrast Rohit Monserrate prove to be giant killer getting 498 as against 225 score by his closest rival. Lorena Dias daughter of customs officer Tony Dias won the Casino constituency on the Babush Panel ticket by a narrow margin against AAPs Melesa Simoes.
