Jude Lobo, the third generation owner of the Souza Lobo shack established in 1932 even before Liberation got anticipatory bail from a Delhi Court.

The Souza Lobo restaurant was attacked in broad day light by the Delhi owner of the neighboring property who was jealous about the success of Souza Lobo. The attack was carried out in broad day light.

When the Goa police filed the case against the Delhi owner in the attack in which, a lot of equipment was damaged got his wife to file a complaint of rape against Jude Lobo.

The Delhi police without informing the Goan authorities arrested Jude Lobo and took him to Delhi for so called investigation. The rape is alleged to have taken place in 2009.

The Delhi High Court dismissed the petition filed by the Delhi owner against the judgement of the Goa Bench of the Bombay HC providing bail to Jude Lobo. Cases of goondagiri by Delhi businessman has been increasing in Goa.
