Over 65,000 parents and students have sent email messages to the Chief Minister Pramod Sawant to postpone the class X and XII exams which were schedule for April 24,2021.
The CM had refused to consider the request to cancel the offline X and XII std exam despite the growing number of Covid-19 cases. This despite the fact that the centre has postponed the NEET (PG) exams due to the covid-19 surge. The national eligibility cum entrance test ( MEET) was schedule to held on April 18 for admission to medical college.
The Central board of secondary education has also cancelled class X exams and postponed XII std test across schools in India.
