LUIZINHO FALEIRO revealed at a press conference  on September 30, 2021 in Panaji, while talking to media people that it was actually the I-PAC chief Prashant Kishor, who succeeded in persuading him to lead the Goa Trinamool Congress, he  confirmed “It is a fact that I never met the TMC leaders. I only met I-PAC before I took the decision.” Kishor is reportedly in talks with other Congress leaders to join the Goa TMC.

While launching the Goa Trinamool Congress at the five-star press conference, much of the talking was naturally done by Luizinho Faleiro. Interestingly, senior TMC leaders present including Leader of TMC in Rajya Sabha Derek O’Brien and TMC Chief Whip in Rajya Sabha Sukhendu Sekhar Roy, Lok Sabha MP Prasun Banerjee and MoS Sports & Youth Affairs (West Bengal) Manoj Tiwary preferred to  sit as quiet  observers on the floor instead of up on the dais with all the new members of the Goa Trinamool Congress which includes Luizinho Faleiro’s son Rabindranath Faleiro.

WHAT ST INEZ CREEK!

WHAT ST INEZ CREEK!

ON Saturday, September  25, at 11 am I saw a vehicle loaded with mud near STP plant St Inez, Tonca, where 12 high rise buildings are coming up at great speed courtesy builder of Counto Construction fame. This builder has not made adequate soakpits on his site and material with polluted dirty water is directly seen discharging into the St Inez Creek via a canal made near the Tonca bridge (see photo).

Trucks are loaded everyday with the mud rubble up to the brim, no covering, at the  Tonca construction side and mud and dust scatters on the road all the way up to the  Nagali hills colony in Dona Paula. I have followed the same truck and seen it unloading its rubbish at Nagali hills colony (see photo).

This dump is so huge that rain water seeps into the ground and are returns to the creek and on to the river Mandovi which is already polluted!

SUPERMARKET ASSAULT

SUPERMARKET ASSAULT

ON Wednesday, September 29, 2021, a 54 years old Joseph Dias, was assaulted at a supermarket in Old Goa over an argument on jumping the queue. The incident occurred when Joseph, who was shopping at the mart, while wife Caroline was waiting at the cash counter to pay the bill.

The attacker Gajanand Pawar shoved aside Caroline. When Joseph Dias came to defend her he was hit on the head by Pawar. Subsequently, Dias  died from brain haemorrhage in the hospital. Are supermarkets safe places to shop anymore if they have no security in place?

FAKE LAND SALES

FAKE LAND SALES

IT is been discovered that a large number of properties belonging to Goans have been transferred or sold to builders and outsiders by forging ownership documents.  With cases of mutation and the inclusion in the record of rights, which confirm the ownership of the land deal, the land mafia is looting Goans. In a reply obtained under the Right to Information Act, in one instance it was found that land measuring 7,975 sq meters belonging to the Serula communidade, was illegally sold to a builder.
