TRAINING: The Partagal Jeevottam Math in Canacona is the only Goan institution which imparts training for priests as a career. In Goa, most of the puja aarti is carried out in Marathi and not in Konkani as Konkani did not have an official script for a long time and Goa adopted Marathi for education and religious rites.
