As many as six Congress MLAs cross-voted in favour of the BJP. Himachal’s Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania suspended 15 BJP MLAs. It appears that the majority of the Congress MLAs wanted a change of leadership meaning chief minister. It does not look like the  Congress will be able to hold on to Himachal Pradesh after the alleged sell-out and betrayal of MLAs.
